I have to make this a quick one because Effie (my sisters roommate) really wants to read my blog. I just got off the phone with my sister. It is now 11:22pm. Time to SPEED BLOG!
These are empties from Nicole's old place. This is about a month's worth. Can you tell that MooseHead is generally the beer of choice?
The boys. Lookin' good, eh? There was a superhero party and since they'd just moved none of them had any idea where anything was. Matti is Crocodile Dundee. Nick is just plain weird. And Eddys' (who is wearing my hat btw) favourite line for anyone (girls) who asked him what superhero he was dressed up as was "Whatever superhero you want me to be." He's pretty slick that way. I had no idea there was a party and had made my way over there right after work. I was looking pretty lame. So I stuck on my glasses and went as a superheros alter ego. I thought it was pretty quick thinking. Wish I had a picture.
Eddy, Nick, Raquel and I went up to Mount Edith Cavell last night. We made it up there around 10pm. It was getting dark. We walked anyways.
Eddy decided to climb an outhouse.
We did what I think was called "The Cavell Pond" walk. This is Nick in the pond. Grabbing an ice cube. The water was quite chilly.
So was the ice cube. Makes sense considering it's a glacial pond, eh?
It was big. And completely solid. We all want to go back in the daytime and do the longer hike. It's like 6.1 kms and over that 6.1 km you ascend like 500 metres. It's going to be intense.
For some reason we thought we should take the ice cube home with us. So the boys and I took turns carrying it. It hurt your hands so harshly.
Part way down we thought about it and realized that taking a piece of ice from the pond was a pretty silly thing to be doing. So instead Eddy and I placed it on this rock. RIP giant ice cube. We got a little bit lost on our way down due to lack of light. But we made it.
I've yet to snipe any pictures of me at Horseshoe from Nicole but she did post this sigular photo of the Northern Lights. Lookit it! It was such an amazing thing to see. There's this one of me and I look like an alien calling to the mother ship. It's pretty fantastic. Oh! And there's one of me at Horseshoe and I have just surfaced after jumping off of a 40 ft cliff and I'm blowing snot and water out of my nose and I have this gorgeouse neck roll, I look like a sea creature. It's pretty gorgeous. I'll be sure to post both of those once I get my hands on 'em.11:59pm, 37 minutes later, the SPEED BLOG is finished!
