Yesterday was my first full day of Comox goodness. It rained, of course.

I forgot my toothbrush. Which is silly because on Monday just before I left I brushed my teeth and thought to myself "don't forget that" Oh well. Donnie had a spare one for me. :)

Thanks Donnie!
I was woken up around 6 am yesterday by Donnie poking me in the back. We hung out for a little bit in the morning before he had to go to work. It was fun. We did it again this morning but I was dead. 4 hours of sleep and up at 6 make for a very sleepy Livy.

I watched him make his lunch. This is how he makes his cucumber. (i realize he's not actually making it. I probably should have said prepares) He saw it on a cooking show once upon a time and has been doing it ever since. It makes them look fancy. I think I'm going to start now too.

Izzy! The cutest, most awsome dog around. I love this girl so much!

We cuddled on the couch for most of the morning. She's a great little spoon. I'll have to teach her how to be the big spoon. Little spoon is my prefered spot.

She likes to give kisses.

We watched "The Neverending Story" together.
Izzy likes to chase her tail. A lot.

Bark!

Eventually I showered, got dressed and made my way over to Garrets' house.

This is Pete. The worst cat in the entire world. He'll be all nice and cuddly one minute and the next he'll rip you to shit. Garret is seriously brave to have his face this close to him.

Garret and I.

J-Mac showed up for a bit too. It was great to see him.

I met up with my long long long time friend Carly and her mom. This girl, her twin sister, my sister and I are like sisters. We grew up together and hung out all the time because my mom and their mom played baseball together and were really good friends as well. They've always had weiner dogs. The one not looking at the camera is Fritzy and the one looking at it is Stedman. They have really bad breath. Stedman managed to lick my teeth. It was really gross.

We went to Tita's for dinner. Their fresh fruit margarita for the day was nectarine. Scrumptious. If I wasn't the driver I would have slammed back an entire litre, I'm sure.

Lori, Carly and I at dinner. It was so nice to hang out with these ladies. It'd been too long.

Quesedilla with Greens. So cheesy and amazing.

This cake was amazing. Chocolate, cinnamon, nuts and whipped cream.

We went back to Carly's place after dinner and chilled for a bit. James played some songs for us. He's the drummer in the band but has some mad guitar skills. I think his band is called "the burn down" I'm not totally sure though, so if that's not it I'll let you know.

Lori (also known as Rosie) is a hairdresser and has a little shop in the basement of her home. She's always cut my hair for me.

The prices have been the same since I was 9 years old.

Carly started double fisting and then it was time to go to Gullies. Valley night life isn't the greatest but I had a good time dancing.
