Hangin' with the Flips.

Today I hi-jacked a bicycle. My philipino friends, Diolan, (pronounced Joylan) Carina and Maloo assisted me.
Actually, they hi-jacked it. I just rode it. They wanted to go for a ride into town but I do not own a bike yet so we borrowed one. It belongs to another co-worker of ours. I'm jealous of it and wish it was mine.

It was a pretty great adventure. I had no idea what they were saying 75% of the time because they were speaking their native language (tegallo or tellago, I'm not sure what it's called) but when the chose to speak English it was hilarious. We went to a bunch of silly tourist shops. Quite amusing.

I couldn't help but laugh at this sweater. Who in their right mind would buy this? It was on sale.

After the tourist shops we went to the grocery store and bought some goodies (satsumas, cheesies and pringles) then went and sat on a bench and ate them. Delicious.

Maloo and Carina, they're best friends
